Mission

To empower high school students with software development skills and cultivate their interest in technology

Vision

To develop the techonologocial competence of young people in under-served communities across Africa

Target

Junior and Senior High school students from rural areas of Ghana. We are currently working within the Akuapem District of Ghana

Did You Know?

Many young high school teenagers from under-served Communities lack access to Basic STEM education

Many students from rural communities have never used a computer. Those who do know very little or nothing about Programming and software development.

Girls are often the worst hit. Only a few of them will choose a career in STEM fields

Many college first-year students from rural communities struggle with programming and computing in general

Many more students will choose a carrer path in technology if given the needed opportunity and exposure

We still have some work to do to connect youths from rural communities to technology

What We Do to Help

Soft Skills

We teach students the use of basic computer software, including skills such as communication and teamwork

Critical Thinking

Students are taught to work around challenging problems and design digital solutions

Programming

Using the HTML language, students get to learn the basics of front-end development

Education

By teaching tech education, we are helping realize SDG 4 – Quality Education

Girls in Tech

By admitting a considerable number of girls, we encourage more to pursue a career in the field of computing

Mentorship

We guide students in their quest to choose a better career and to become problem solvers
