Since inception, we have succesfully executed 5 cohorts of the project
Even though we are currently working with students from the Berekuso community due to restrictions posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have worked with students From two schools and have taught digital skills to over 100 junior and senior high school students.
Through a well-structured curriculum, we teach students basic computer skills and programming. The first part of our curriculum focuses on teaching students the use of the computer, MS Office Suite Programs, the Internet and much more. The second part narrows down on programming or coding, a vital skill needed to solve many problems today.
The schools we work with do not have ICT labs. Hence, they have no access to computers or other necessary ICT gadgets. The Code4All Initiative, therefore, provides all the computers and other devices needed for the program, including routers and projectors.
